    TOPIC

Putting AI to Work In your Club

    A Hands-On Introduction to Claude

This is a working session, not a lecture. Bring your laptop. Together we will walk through practical club examples using Claude, from drafting member communications to summarizing financial results and preparing for committee meetings. You will leave with a clear sense of what AI can do for your club today, a few use cases you can put to work immediately, and the confidence to start. No prior AI experience is needed. Come curious and bring a real task you would love to hand off.

Originally from Arizona, Jeff Dekruif spent 12 years in finance for Troon in Scottsdale, including serving as regional financial controller for the private country club division of the company. Experienced in the management of top ranked private residential golf club communities, Jeff has served in CFO and COO capacities at some of the top Platinum ranked communities in the Southeast. Jeff recently decided to pursue a long-term career dream, as CEO and managing partner of Financially Astute Clubs, a new full service financial consulting firm offering a vast array of financial support to private clubs nationwide. Jeff is a Certified Club Manager (CCM) through the Club Management Association of America, a Certified Hospitality Accounting Executive (CHAEĀ®), serves on the HFTP Global Board of Directors and is working on his Class A membership to the PGA of America
