    New Overtime Rules - Strategies for Compliance

    Discussion of how the new Overtime Rules that became effective on July 1, 2024 will affect your employees moving forward.

     

The overall goal of this presentation is for attendees to walk away with the information they need to comply with the new overtime rules for Clubs and Hotels.

 

Jennifer Stanley is an accomplished compliance attorney specializing in unraveling the complexities of employer-sponsored health plans. Armed with an unparalleled ability to decipher legislation, rules, and regulations, she excels in providing expert guidance in a clear, practical, and actionable manner. Her relentless curiosity, sharp intellect, and unwavering integrity set her apart as a formidable force in the field.

Compliance is not just a matter of ticking boxes; it is the key to providing participants with valuable benefits while simultaneously protecting employers from fines and litigation. Jennifer firmly believes that every employer, regardless of size, should be able to access comprehensive compliance solutions in order to thrive in today's dynamic business environment.

Jennifer is actively involved with the National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals (NABIP, formerly NAHU), where she has served as a strong advocate for employers and brokers. She serves on the NABIP Legislative Council, in her third term as the Dallas President, and served for 8 years on the NABIP-Texas Legislative Council. Jennifer participates in policy discussions, provides insightful commentary in response to requests for comment, and plays integral roles in the NABIP Major Health Policy Working Group for Prescription Drugs and the Employer Working Group for Quality and Price.

Jennifer earned her law degree from Texas Tech University School of Law in 2013, obtaining a Certificate in Health Law, and is a distinguished member of the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society, the Texas Bar, and the American Bar Association. Prior to law school, Jennifer conducted Phase 3 clinical research trials at esteemed institutions such as the Cooper Institute of Dallas, the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center for Depression, and the Liver Institute at Methodist Dallas.
