Chris Deans is a senior manager in Deloitte’s Dallas assurance practice. He specializes in the blockchain and real estate industries and has served clients from start-up through IPO, with internal control implementations, and through mergers and transactions.

Blockchain is an emerging distributed ledger technology that allows peers to transact in a secure, transparent, and efficient manner, without the need for a central authority. It has the potential to transform the way people interact and disrupt entire industries. We will cover the basics of blockchain technology, examples of real world applications, and how the technology is already shaping business.
